This week we will explore the following topics:
Reading/Writing: begin module 2 - describe relationship between people, plants, and animals / use topic specific vocabulary / use irregular plural nouns
Word Work: high frequency words - don't, would, off, out, more / phonics pattern - open syllables (these syllables end in a vowel and the vowel sound is usually long). Examples: baby, cozy, tiger, pony, music, motor, photo, zebra, music, table.
Math: topic 5 - subtract within 100 using different strategies - break apart numbers to subtract / solve 1 and 2 step word problems
Social Studies/Science: geography unit - identify our location in the world
