Reading/Writing: use text features to navigate an informational text / determine the author's purpose of a text / describe the connection between parts of the digestive system
Word Work: high frequency words: start, please, thank, own, before / phonics pattern: review of 6 syllable types (open, closed, consonant + le, vowel team, r-controlled, final e). Examples: baby, chart, puzzle, picnic, tadpole, fossil, tiger, purple, needle
Math: topic 15 - Shapes - 2D and 3D shapes / divide shapes into equal parts / equal shares of a shape - halves, thirds, fourths / review and assess
Social Studies: citizenship unit - identify what a democracy is & the 3 branches of government
